What the credit is
Smart Exchange credit is store credit issued against the confirmed trade-in value of your old furniture. It is:
- Non-cash — cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstance.
- Non-transferable — cannot move to another person or another order once issued, unless Intaryaa agrees otherwise in writing.
- Tied to a specific new purchase — issued to be applied toward a new Intaryaa order, not held as a general account balance.
How redemption works
Redemption is bundled with logistics rather than treated as a separate step:

Estimate
You get a provisional value range instantly on the form, based on self-reported category, age and condition.

Confirmation
Our team follows up within 24–48 hours to confirm the item qualifies.

Shopping
You select new furniture on Intaryaa, above the minimum order value.

Final valuation
At pickup, the team physically inspects the item; the confirmed value may differ from the online estimate.

Simultaneous redemption
Credit is applied to the new order and the old item is picked up at the same time the new furniture is delivered.
Validity period
If unused within this window, credit lapses unless Intaryaa agrees otherwise in writing.

Clearance-priced items are already margin-thin, so stacking trade-in credit on top compounds the discount most. Restricting to one credit type per order keeps redemption accounting simple and auditable.
Edge cases
New order value is less than the confirmed credit
Balance is retained, not forfeited. Unused credit remains available for a future order, but only within the original 14-day validity window from confirmation — it does not reset or extend.
New order value is more than the confirmed credit
You pay the difference through standard payment methods at checkout.
Splitting credit across multiple orders
Not permitted at launch. One confirmed credit is tied to one new order, redeemed at a single pickup-linked delivery.
Buy now but not ready for pickup
Permitted — pickup can be decoupled from delivery. The new order can be placed and confirmed, with pickup scheduled any time within the credit's 14-day validity window.
